House System

To promote competitive team spirit in sports and games and allied activities, the whole school is divided into four Houses, namely Daisy, Lily, Lotus and Rose. These Houses function under the at supervision of House incharges assisted by co-incharges and House captains throughout the year.

A. Inter-House Competitions of games:

• Volley ball, Cricket, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Hand-ball, Basket Ball, Throw ball and Table tennis.

B. Inter-House Competitions in cultural and other Activities:

• Dance, Dramatics, Singing, Action Songs, Quizzes etc.
• Cultural and other Inter-House competitions.
• Debates, Declamation, Handwriting, Drawing and Painting, Antakshri, Poem Recitation, Fancy Dress etc. Besides these, educational trips & tours are also organised by the school.
• The school also participates in national festivals like Independence day and Republic day. Festival like-Lohri is celebrated to keep the students in touch with our rich traditions and customs.
• Foundation day celebration of the school is an another occasion when students display their creative and intellectual abilities through various programmes.
• 14th November is celebrated as Children’s Day in the school every year. On this day competitions in various co-curricular activities are organised and prizes are given to first three position holders.
• 5th September is celebrated as the Teachers’ day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.
• Gandhi Jayanti is also celebrated to pay our homage to the father of nation.
